Do I need travel cancellation insurance?
It's frustrating when you can't start a trip or have to cut it short. Especially if it also incurs costs for you. Anything can come up, and the risk is higher when traveling with children. Therefore, we strongly recommend that all guests take out travel cancellation insurance when booking, covering things like cancellation, trip interruption, and cancellation advice. For example, ERGO.

Is there a guest information folder?
Both apartments have a german guest information folder with important information about the house, the furnishings, spare light bulbs, how to operate the electrical appliances, tips for Sylt, departure, etc.
This is also available in a digital version for guests.
Where can I find the Wi-Fi access?
Both apartments have a guest information folder containing the Wi-Fi access code, also available as a QR code. You will also find the QR code in the picture frame in the entrance area of the house.
The Wi-Fi is slow or not working at all today.
Sylt sometimes makes you forget it's an island. Wind and weather can affect things quite a bit. We ask for your understanding. The router is located on the ground floor, and the Wi-Fi is usually always available. However, if you can't find the Wi-Fi at all after a storm or thunderstorm, please check the router. Sometimes it switches off, or guests may have switched it off. Or, you could ask the guests on the ground floor and get to know them ;-)

Something broke on me
Accidents happen to everyone. Please do not replace dishes or similar items yourself. Please inform us immediately so that we can rectify the situation and ensure that the next guests can also enjoy a pleasant holiday.

The TV programs are all mixed up.
Thunderstorms, brief power outages, or sometimes guests rearrange the programs. In those cases, the order unfortunately no longer matches the listing in the guest information folder.
Tap water = drinking water?
Sylt's tap water is fresh, delicious, and reduces waste. Carafes are provided in both apartments.
Parking at the house
Parking space "13c" belongs to the house and can be used by guests of both apartments. However, ample free parking is available along Horstweg.
We don't like the weather.
We try our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible, but unfortunately there are some things we cannot influence ;-)
